Voter Registration
Voter registration forms and Absentee Ballots for Federal and State Elections are available at the office. Residents also have to come to the office to get an absentee ballot when planning to be out of town during an election.

The Town Clerk’s Office accepts payment in the form of cash or check, only.
Motor Vehicle Registration
Vehicles can be registered during regular office hours. Please bring your current registration(s) and driver’s license with you. If you are registering a vehicle that is new to you, you must present a Statement of Origin or a valid Title for vehicles year 2000 to the present or for trailers 3001 lbs. and over. Vehicles older than this or trailers less than 3001 lbs., require a bill of sale and one of the following:
1. A valid Title
2. A previous NH registration
3. A completed Vin Verification form
(available at the office or online on the NH-DMV website)
If you wish to transfer your plates to another vehicle, you must surrender your present registration to the State of NH. Should you lose your registration or require a replacement, you can purchase one at the town office.
Licenses & Certificates
Certified Copies of Birth and Death Certificates and Marriage Licenses | |
Certified copies of birth, marriage, and death records may be obtained at the Town Office. The current fee is $15.00 per copy. Additional copies of the same record are $10.00 each. You can obtain Marriage Licenses at the Town Office for a fee of $50.00. Both parties must be present. Please bring a photo ID and any Divorce Decree or Annulment paperwork.
Dog Licenses As required by NH Law (RSA 466 :1), every owner or keeper of a dog 4 months or older shall annually have it registered and licensed. A current rabies vaccination certificate must be furnished at the time of licensing. Licenses run from May 1st to April 30th each year. Failure to do so will result in penalties and fines being assessed, however, due to COVID-19, late fees are being waived until June 30, 2020. The fee amounts are as follows: · $9.00 – Male/Female Dogs not spayed or neutered · $6.50 – Male/Female Dogs spayed or neutered · $2.00 – Senior citizens (65 years or older) for 1st dog |
